My name is Chris Deadman and I manage the Anthony Honeyball Racing Club.

This blog is intended to provide occasional updates on the progress of club horses and to give prospective members an insight into what we are about and why we believe our club to be one of the best group ownership ventures around.

The club could not have got off to a better start than when Cresswell Crusader won on his first outing for us at Fontwell on 4th November 2011. It was always the plan to try and launch our club with a winner and we were very fortunate that race conditions turned out perfect for us. All members were told to have a good each way bet and he was supported from 9/2 to 6/4 favourite. It certainly was not plain sailing as he made a couple of errors late on and won by a fast diminishing neck.
